FÁBRICA DE CHARUTOS SUERDIECK: UMA ABORDAGEM ÉTNICO-SOCIAL DOS TRABALHADORES

Este artigo tem como objeto de estudo a Fábrica de Charutos Suerdieck. O objetivo central foi traçar o perfil étnico-sociocultural dos trabalhadores da fábrica de charutos Suerdieck no Recôncavo Baiano, especialmente nos municípios de Cruz das Almas e Maragojipe, a partir das memórias e narrativas que compõe o imaginário coletivo e individual de seus ex-trabalhadores. Partiu-se do pressuposto que, para além da historiografia centrada em documentos oficiais, as histórias sociais e de produção da Suerdieck, possibilitariam dimensionar com robusta veracidade a dinâmica sociocultural cruzalmense e maragojipana geradas pelo seu funcionamento. A partir de tal propósito, o estudo foi desenvolvido no campo da pesquisa qualitativa, á luz da abordagem memorialística como fonte de investigação, em que os sujeitos da pesquisa constituíram-se de ex-trabalhadores, onde os testemunhos dados a partir de entrevistas semi-estruturadas permitiram melhor interpretar e refletir o resultado do objetivo aqui exposto.

This article aims to study the Cigar Factory Suerdieck. The main objective was to profile the socio-ethnic workers in the cigar factory Suerdieck Recôncavo, especially in the cities of Cruz das Almas and Maragojipe, from the memories and narratives that make up the individual and collective imagination of its former employees. It started from the assumption that in addition to the historiography centered on official documents, social histories and production of Suerdieck, would enable the truthfulness scale with robust and dynamic sociocultural cruzalmense maragojipana generated by its operation. From this purpose, the study was developed in the field of qualitative research approach in the light of memoirs as a source of research, in which the subjects consisted of former workers, where the testimonies data from semi- possible to better interpret structured and reflect the outcome of the goal here exposed.
